Dr. U. S. Prasad is a distinguished alumnus of prestigious IIT-Kanpur and acclaimed educationist. He carried out his Post-Doctoral R&D work (on deputation from ONGC) in EOR Modelling at EOR Institute, University of Wyoming, USA. Having contributed more than three decades in ONGC - a premier E&P Company, Dr. Prasad has acquired extensive experience in upstream petroleum industry with core competencies in Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering, and Exploration & Development of Unconventional Energy Resources. As a General Manager, he has coordinated, monitored and channeled various activities pertaining to Procurement and Budgeting as well as Development and Growth of Human Resources.
After his superannuation from ONGC in July 2010, he realigned his career and joined RGIPT as Professor of Petroleum Engineering, where he continued to strive to provide requisite inputs towards academic excellence/organizational growth till July 2015. During his tenure, he taught petroleum engineering courses to B. Tech and M. Tech students, and guided numerous M. Tech students in their thesis research work. His inspiring thoughts that “Innovation is more likely to come from generalists than specialists” guided the career of numerous students who are now well placed in reputed and esteemed oil and gas companies and achieving new heights.

Dr. S. K. Mishra, a well-known personage for his dynamic personality with extensive knowledge in Reservoir Engineering, Well Test Analysis, Reservoir Simulation, Well Stimulation and Pipeline Engineering. He completed his Ph.D. research works in “Multi Phase Fluid Flow through Underground Porous Media,” from S. V. Regional College of Engineering & Technology (SVNIT), Gujarat in 1977 & worked at CNR Laboratory under University of Pavia, Italy on Numerical Analysis Techniques in 1975.
He joined ONGC in 1980 and retired as Deputy General Manager with more than three decades of experience on various topics at different institutes & work centers. Prof. P. D. Arora is highly qualified and renowned petroleum engineer. Prof. Arora did his integrated BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering from Moscow on Government of India Scholarship. He possesses enviable extensive, rich and diversified industrial experience spanning over 35 years in upstream wing of oil and gas industry-both domestic and international. He has worked for ONGC and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). He was then appointed as Advisor (Production) in GAIL (INDIA) Ltd. and Country Manager in Transnational Drilling and Mining Associates (TDMA) followed by over a decade of freelance consultancy and teaching of domain subjects of Petroleum Engineering in UPES, Dehradun & RGIPT, Rae Bareli.

Mr. Manish Kumar Srivastava, an extremely passionate petroleum engineer with nearly Nine years of industrial experience as a Chief Field Geophysicist at WesternGeco International Limited, Schlumberger.
